Who We Are

I found out I was pregnant during a transitional phase of my life, I had just moved to CA, was in a fairly new relationship and had started a brand new job when reality hit me hard. I went to Birth Choice because I was freaking out and my health insurance wouldn't start for 3 more months, I was desperate for any support I could get. What I found was more amazing than I ever could have imagined, a free pregnancy test and ultrasound, a non judgmental environment, a free baby blanket and beanie (in blue because I was hoping for a boy), friendship and direction. A sweet young woman really helped me feel less anxious and the most amazing woman ever has walked with me through my entire pregnancy and even after our perfect little boy was born. She's been so positive and helped me prepare for motherhood and still continues to offer support and encouragement. I can't even image how different my pregnancy would have been without her- I have found a lifelong friend and I'm beyond grateful for her and for Birth Choice, I'm so emotional as I write this review... thank you so much!!!

Birth Choice has truly been an incredible place for me. They are so kind and professional in every area. They clearly explain my options, are sensitive and understanding. When I first came, I was measuring smaller than expected and had a follow-up appointment. Everyone once again welcomed me with open arms and were so kind and patient. A truly incredible place to start our new and welcomed journey into parenthood. I couldn't be happier with my experience and will continue to come and go to the classes they offer once a week on various topics of parenthood.

I recommend this place if you feel lost. When I first found out I was pregnant, they talked to me about what I want to do and showed me around the facility. I was nervous and scared but they were kind and understanding. Even 10 months later when I gave birth to my baby, they emailed me and checked up how the baby is doing and gave him presents. They also have classes that we can attend to have more of an understanding about parenthood and they also give out free ultrasounds.

I was really worried that my parents would be angry when they found out I was pregnant, and I couldn't bear to disappoint them like that. I was afraid that my parents would make me move out. When I found out that Birth Choice in San Marcos could help me find a place to live if that happened to me, it gave me the courage to tell them I was pregnant. Birth Choice was right when they told me my parents would probably be disappointed at first, but would come around because they loved me and would want to be there for me. My parents love my baby and are the best grandparents ever!

The first time I came in to Birth Choice, I was on the fence about having an abortion, so I came in with a heavy heart. They never judged me, they were kind loving people. They wanted to know me, so talked until everything was out on the table. I got an untrasound done and that was that. At the end of the day I was sure of my choice. I was going to have my 4th baby. I am not going to lie, my husband and I did struggle for a bit. Now my baby is almost 8 months old. We both can’t see our live without her! We love her so much, she a blessing and a big joy to our growing family. I am so glad Birth Choice was around to help me along the way. They were there the whole time. Even now, they’re a phone call away.

The earn while you learn program is great. It allows me to take classes on parenting, while collecting points to get things for my daughter such as clothes, diapers, wipes and more. My Mentor is so easy to talk to and overall just a good person to have on your side. Ive always felt very welcomed by all the staff members at the clinic and i am very grateful to have found birth choice.

I first came here around June when I found out about my pregnancy and the ladies here have been very helpful along the way. I joined the “earn while you learn” online parenting classes and it’s very beneficial to anyone who’s a first time mom. Everyone at Birth Choice has been a big help and provided me with resources for my pregnancy. I’d recommend this place to any expecting mother.

I came here scared and anxious due to past incidences with my pregnancy’s, and I left happy, calm and with more knowledge about everything my body is experiencing. Everyone was so nice and they actually listen to you which makes a huge difference. If you’re looking for a place where they care come here 10/10
